Climate Finance
A public funding programme of the Austrian Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology
Call 2023: No projects can be submitted for this Call anymore. Submission was possible till July the 31st, 2023 at 12:00 (Central European Summer Time, CEST)
Applicants can be any Austrian legal entities who have the expertise and the technical and human resources to implement the proposed project.
Categories of eligible applicants are:
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
- Universities and other academic institutions
- Research institutes and think tanks
- Private sector companies
that have been operative for at least three years prior to the proposal submission date.
Consortia of more than one eligible applicant as well as sub-contracting arrangements are eligible.
Applicants are encouraged to plan and implement their projects in collaboration with one or more local partner entity/ies, which is/are registered in the country/ies where the project is implemented, if applicable.
The main objective of this call is to select projects, that make financial flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions, climate-resilient development, and contribute to Climate change mitigation, Climate change adaptation and Cross-cutting.

Submission period
The complete application documents must be submitted online to KPC within the submission deadline.

The applicants will be informed of the result once the evaluations have been completed and the Ministry (BMK) has made its decision.
